Varsity Tennis @ South Christian Invitational–Sept. 24, 2011

The Varsity Boys Tennis team traveled south to compete in an 8 team invitational hosted by the Sailors of South Christian. The Cats had a great day finishing no lower than third place in all of the singles and doubles flights with Jack Koperski (3 singles) and Hunter Walt/Zach West (3 doubles) winning their flight

Varsity Soccer vs. Greenville–Sept. 22, 2011

The Varsity soccer team posted a big win in topping the Greenville YellowJackets 4-1 on the road. The Cats controlled the first half leading 2-0.  The Cats duplicated their scoring in the second half with 2 more goals.  The YellowJackets scored 1 goal in the second half. Varsity Soccer vs. EGR–Sept. 20, 2011

The Varsity soccer team posted a big win in topping East Grand Rapids 3-2.   It was a very close game between the two teams.  Northview was first to take the lead 2-1 after the first half.  The teams split goals in the second half.  Here are the stats from the game…. NORTHVIEW 3, EGR 2

Cross Country Varsity Boys, Northview @ Conference Jamboree #2 – 21 Sep, 2011 5:15pm

The Wildcats run to a second place finish. The Wildcats remains in second in the overall conference standings. The CATS were led by Esrom Woldemichael (2nd), Jake Grieffendorf (6th), Aric Gaunt (17th), Trevor Gregory (19th) and Matt Forbes (20th). All the above mentioned student athletes earned All Conference Points. Great Job Wildcats!

Varsity Tennis vs. EGR–Sept. 21, 2011

The Wildcats hosted the Pioneers of EGR as well as recognized the upcoming Black Out for Cancer event by wearing t-shirts.   The Cats were ready to defend their home turf which Austin Hendrick and Jack Koperski did great by posting victories.  Unfortunately, the rest of the team came up short. Varsity Swimming vs. Byron Center–Sept. 20, 2011

The Wildcats came up short versus Byron Center on Wednesday losing 118-68. It was a crazy meet with all of the technology malfunctions and the severe humidity, but some good times came out of it. Mariah Newton had best times in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events setting the stage for 2 other seniors
